Since starting my journey as Auntie Angeline, I’ve really loved being invited to events to share my art and stories. Getting to read to kids and see them connect with the story in real time means everything to me. But after a while, I started to feel like I wanted to give them more than just sitting and listening.

I wanted it to feel like an experience.

So I had this idea to bring all my favorite bright colors and create something more interactive. I ended up building out a full setup for my events. I painted everything myself, from the table and chairs to the underwater character decorations and even the friendship bracelet sign. It took time, but it felt really special putting it all together.

I was honestly just proud to create something that felt like me and something I was excited to share.

The first time I brought this setup out was at the Delray Beach Coco Market, and it was such a great experience. I got to read my book, hang out with families, and create art together using my coloring printables. It felt fun, easy, and exactly what I had hoped it would be.

Now it feels like more than just a book reading. Kids get to listen, create, and actually be part of it.
